ItaloJohnson will be disbanding by the end of this month. The news was confirmed by the trio’s agent to Resident Advisor earlier today, March 4th. Their last performances are scheduled for later this month: on March 29th at Bassiani and on Monday, April 1st, where they’ll deliver the closing set at Panorama Bar during the Berlin club’s Easter celebration.
Established in 2010, ItaloJohnson once characterized their music as “simple body soul music.” They gained recognition through a series of well-received, self-published EPs while maintaining a semi-anonymous presence for much of their career.
